Dr. Kyle P. Moran

Clinical Director/Chiropractic Physician

Dr. Kyle P. Moran is a board certified chiropractic physician, the clinical director and owner of Back In Action. He has been practicing chiropractic with an emphasis on sports and athletics at Back In Action since 2005.

Dr. Moran received a bachelor of science degree in 2000 and his doctorate of Chiropractic in 2003, both from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO. He also has additional training in the chiropractic management of sports injuries.

Dr. Kyle Moran has also been voted ‘Best Chiropractor’ in Style Weekly’s Best of Richmond and in Virginia Living magazine in recent years.

Dr. Moran is a multi-sport athlete and has extensive experience treating athletes and active individuals. He has treated many professional and high-level athletes in a myriad of sports and has developed a reputation in the Richmond health care arena for working with sports injuries of all types, including the spine and extremities.

Portia Price, LMT

Portia is a nationally and Virginia state Certified Massage Therapist and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA.) She received her BA degree from University of Richmond in 1992, then her AAS degree in Occupational Therapy from J Sergeant Reynolds Community College in 1998. She then went in to complete her training in massage therapy, receiving her certificate from American Institute of Massage in 2002.

Portia’s first therapy jobs were in long term care rehab centers & adult day care centers for seniors with varying physical and cognitive disabilities. She enjoyed the older population but as her interest in wellness and natural health grew, she felt she could better serve patients by teaching and practicing holistic, preventative approaches to health, which included massage therapy.
Portia’s preferred treatment modalities include neuromuscular therapy, deep tissue massage, myofascial release and diaphragmatic breathing training/retraining. She currently lives and works in Richmond, Virginia, sharing a life of holistic and natural health with her husband, 2 children and 2 cats. She would love to help you learn more about living a pain-free, balanced, productive life!

Terrie Spell LMT, CLT

Terrie offers Swedish massage, deep tissue, certified lymphatic drainage, and fascia work. She takes into consideration the fascia planes of the body to bring the fascia back to normal. No two sessions are ever the same.

Michele A. Stoll, M.S., COTA, CMT

Michele is a certified and licensed massage therapist (CMT) and occupational therapy assistant (COTA) through the state of Virginia Department of Health Professions. She has an earned BS degree in Health Education from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU, 1997), an AAS degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting from J.Sargent Reynolds Community College (1998) and a MS degree in Educational Leadership from Longwood University (2021). Her massage therapy training and certificate is from the American Institute of Massage in Richmond, VA (2000).

Michele has worked as a clinician for 15 years with adults and seniors in inpatient rehab and retirement living communities using massage therapy as a therapeutic intervention for a variety of physical disabilities. She also developed a successful general massage therapy practice within a retirement community for residents and staff as an outreach of the rehab department. For the past 7 years Michele has served in the role of Fieldwork Coorindator and instructor in the occupational therapy assistant program (OTA) at South University-Richmond including use of complimentary & alternative therapy techniques in rehab among other topics and courses. Treatment modalities for Michele include therapeutic massage, deep tissue massage, and environmental adaptations to better function and engage in daily life.

Michele lives in Richmond with her husband and dog Bailey and they have a daughter attending VT. She is excited to blend her massage and OT knowledge and skills together to educate and help her clients engage more and improve their overall life performance.
